Sabrina Armitage was born in Vienna, Austria and currently lives and works in the Los Angeles area. After studying Fine Art at Otis College of Art and Design, Sabrina entered the world of encaustic painting in 2012. Themes of resilience and adaptability weave through her art reflecting her background in Psychology and Clinical Social Work and the desire to unfold layers that reveal the inner landscape. The encaustic medium (beeswax and resin) allows for an investigative excavation that parallels each of our human stories and imperfections, where beauty is held within vulnerability and struggle.
